The Gospel for Mass today is the story of the woman caught in adultery. A mob ready to stone her, a quick test of Jesus, some writing in the dirt on the ground, and “neither do I condemn you, now go live a sinless life.”
There is something about leaving a key detail out of a story and letting readers and listeners fill in their own truths.
