It was back to school day after the Winter Break. No snow, a couple colds, a spread out Christmas adventure.
We read bundles for the Oregon Battle of the Books. My daughter is on a team called the Savage Watermelon Eating Bunny. There are three members, so each was assigned four of the dozen books. My daughter was responsible for The Hero’s Guide to Saving Your Kingdom, Wish, George, and Book Scavenger.
I got back out onto GrubHub today and the four deliveries still left GH pitching $10 to make my minimum of $52 for 4 hours. Maybe something driving around will catch my attention tomorrow.
I’m grateful that I can earn money to pay the bills. I am grateful for reading with my kids.
